Alexandra P.

Good Day,

My name is Alexandra P. I was born on the coast of the Black Sea in a beautiful and picturesque city of Odessa. Since my early childhood I've been living with my family which consisted of three people: myself, my mother and her brother. I've never had the time to go to the beach, relax, so I learned to be independent. At seven I was responsible for all the housework because my mother and uncle are handicapped to the first and second degree. I started going to school at the Orphanage #5. It's been very hard for me at this institution. Constant fighting with my peers caused me to leave the orphanage when I was in 2nd grade. When I was 8, I got to the Children's Shelter, the life there was living hell, but I couldn't tell anybody about what's been going on in my soul, my mother was at the psychiatric hospital at that time. After the shelter at the age of 9, I was transferred to the orphanage #3, where I am currently residing. At 11 I lost an important person in my life- my uncle. I've never had a father, that's why my mother's brother replaced him. At 13 I was left without my house because my mother was taken to the psychiatric hospital again and somebody took advantage of that and set fire to my house. Currently I don't have any support outside my school.
Upon finishing the 9th grade I am planning on entering Teachers College. Then, I hope to join the Physics- Mathematics department to become a Math teacher in the future, so that I can work at the orphanage which has been my home. I am mostly impressed with this establishment because good people work here who fully give themselves to the children. I am thankful to them for raising me.
In my spare time I like to solve math problems, embroider with threads and beads, sing, and also do my classmates' hair. I also like reciting long and emotional poems and read science-fiction novels. I hope that in the future my life will be filled with only the bright color palette.
